Unit 2 Winsford Industrial Estate

Paul Rixon acted as expert witness for BAE Pension Fund Trustees, the claimant in a multi million pound case in the Technology and Construction Court that was settled prior to the trial commencing. The case arose out of the construction of Unit 2, Winsford Industrial Estate, a 109,000 sqft distribution facility in Winsford, Cheshire. Paul provided expert evidence in relation to the diminution in rental value and freehold capital value suffered by the claimant as a result of structural defects in particular affecting the ground floor slab.
